The lottery has announced that a Pearl River ticket worth $1 million was sold in the March 1 drawing. The ticket was bought at Randolph Street General Store on Highway 19.

"We are thrilled that this ticket was sold in our town and we hope the winner comes forward soon," said store owner Gail Moore.

Lottery officials say the winning ticket matched all five white balls drawn – 03-07-13-22-30. The prize is worth $1 million cash. The retailer will also receive a $10,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

Players have 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prize. Winners have the option of taking a one-time cash payment or annual payments for 20 years.

How to Play Pearl River and Win

Pearl River is a two-player game in which one player takes the red and black pieces, while the other takes the white. The game board has a track of 10 squares running horizontally across the middle and nine squares running vertically. A player must move their pieces to the opposite end of the track, with the goal being to get all of their pieces off the board before their opponent does.

The game starts with both players having two pieces - one on the 1st row, and one on the 9th row. The player with the black pieces moves first. On a player's turn, they can either move one piece along a horizontal or vertical line, or they can jump over an adjacent piece to an empty square. If a player jumps over an opponent's piece, that opponent's piece is removed from the board. If a player's last piece is jumped, they lose the game.

In this game, Black is moving first. Black can either move one of their pieces along a horizontal or vertical line, or they can jump over White's piece on square 2 to reach square 3. If Black jumps over White's piece, White's piece is removed from the board. In this case, Black moves their leftmost piece (on square 5) along the vertical line to square 6.

White then has four options for their next turn:

1) Move their rightmost piece (on square 9) along the vertical line to square 10. This would be a basic move since it doesn't involve jumping or capturing any pieces. 2) Jump over Black's leftmost piece (on square 6) to reach square 7 with their rightmost piece (on square 9). This would be a valid move since it captures Black's leftmost piece. 3) Move their leftmost piece (on square 5) along the horizontal line to square 6. This would be a basic move since it doesn't involve jumping or capturing any pieces. 4) Jump over Black's rightmostpiece (on square 3) to reach square 4 with their leftmostpiece (onsquare 5). This would be a valid move since it captures Black's rightmostpiece.
